#COYER Summer Reading List!

It’s time for the Summer edition of #COYER! This time we’re allowed to read whatever the heck we want, but if we want an extra challenge, we can stick to a preset list of books. Knowing me, I have to go for the extra challenge. Below you’ll find 30 books that I’d like to knock off my TBR and plan to read over this summer. We’re also allowed to add 5 more books for every five that we complete, so I’ll be adding to this list as time goes on. I’m going to try really hard to only read books on this list.

2017 Beat the Backlist Challenge!

I didn’t plan on signing up for any challenges for next year (other than #COYER, of course), but then I saw this one! I read a lot of backlist titles, so I know I won’t fail it! But what really sealed the deal was the extra Hogwarts House Cup Mini Challenge. I am in no way what you could call a Harry Potter fan, but I love the idea of earning points! I don’t even really care that much about the actual competition, but I will be trying to earn as many points as possible!

#Coyer Blackout!

The Winter edition of the Clean Out Your E-Reads Challenge is here! And with the change in season, comes a new, strict rule set. This time we’re only allowed to read ebooks and audiobooks which we got for free or cheap ($1 for ebooks, $5 for audio) before the challenge starts! We all know that I have a million books which qualify, so I’m not lacking for reading material. The real challenge will be choosing which ones I’ll finally read! And staying away from my library for 12 weeks. What I’ve Read:★★☆☆☆ Day for Night by Stacey E. Bryan {$0.00}★★★★☆ Freeks by Amanda Hocking {$0.00}★★★★☆ Blank Spaces by Cass Lennox {$0.00}★★★★☆ Finding Your Feet by Cass Lennox {$0.00}★★★★☆ Dreadnought by April Daniels {$0.00}★★★★☆ Just Physical by Jae {$0.00}★★★☆☆ Future Threat by […]

#COYER Summer Vacation 2016!

It’s Clean Out Your E-Reads Challenge time again! Yes! I know I announced that I was abandoning all reading challenges this year, but I can’t give up on COYER! It’s my favorite! And it’s the Summer edition, which means all books count! It’d be silly not to participate! But with the lack of rules, I needed to come up with a “theme” to help me focus my reading. I would really like to finally clear out my Netgalley eARCs from 2013 aka the year I lost my mind. I also need to put a bigger dent in my secret blog project! So that’s what I’ll hopefully be doing all Summer long! What I’ve Read:★★★☆☆ Bet On Me by Rachel Higginson★★★★☆ Out On Good Behavior by Dahlia Adler★★★★☆ Signal Boost by Alyssa Cole★★★★☆ […]

2016 Reading Assignment Challenge!

It’s time for another round of The Reading Assignment Challenge! It wasn’t as tough as I thought it was going to be, but I think that’s because I had a plan and I stuck to it! So even though there are some slight rule changes for the new year, I’m going to recycle my plan! Once again, our challenge if we choose to accept it, is to make a list of books we want/need to get to in 2016 and read them! We can only read a set number per month, and we can only change out books after the second quarter. I’m going for Level 4 again, which means I’m reading 4 books from my list per month! My list is primarily books that I own, because I need […]

2016 Blogger Shame Review Challenge!

I always participated in Netgalley November when it came around and it always helped me out a lot. But now there’s this year long challenge! I need it! I currently have 42 overdue eARCs. 33 of which are from 2013, aka the year I lost my mind. Despite those numbers, my feedback ratio is 87%! But, I want to get my feedback ratio up to 90% and keep it there for 2016, and this challenge will help me accomplish that goal! What I’ve Read★★☆☆☆ Four Weddings and a Werewolf by Kristin Miller

2016 Read the Books You Buy Challenge!

2016 Read the Books You Buy Challenge!

I suck at reading books that I buy. I buy some, then run off to the library to get something to read. Or I buy something and then read eARCs or whatever. But why don’t I read the books that I buy?! While this challenge won’t help me get to the many books that I’ve bought over the years, it will hold me accountable for recent purchases. The rules say we can count books from as far back as June 2015. I was going to go with just the third quarter, but that wouldn’t cover enough books (I happened to read more of those than I thought!), so June 2015 – December 2016 purchases it is!
