Review: Shattered Pack (Alpha Girl, #6) by Aileen Erin

I am so glad that this series is back in action! Shattered Pack picks up not long after the events of Alpha Unleashed, but this time we’re following Meredith. She’s no longer under a magical curse, but she is stuck at home after her face was all over the news. Of course, this means she has to sneak away somehow. She meets up with Cosette who seems to know something that she doesn’t about the Irish werewolves and it’s not good. Then she and Donovan have to head out to Ireland after his second is murdered.

Review: Cipher (The Shadow Ravens, #1) by Aileen Erin

Cipher is an exciting, Sci-Fi, New Adult Romance set in the distant future starring a female hacker! Cipher, as the gaming community knows her, doesn’t get close to people. Physically she can’t because of her power to attract and dispel electricity (she’s fried her fair share of computers). But she’s also been on the run since she was eight years old because her uncle and the Black Helixes are after her. At birth, Cipher was marked as a Red Helix, meaning she has unstable DNA and was destined for death. She avoided that fate until she killed a man, revealing her unusual ability. Twelve years later, she’s still hiding out, but someone else is looking for her.

Series Review: Alpha Girl #2-5 by Aileen Erin

Avoiding Alpha was a quick and interesting follow up to Becoming Alpha. Tessa and Dastien are preparing for their upcoming Tribunal, Tessa’s birthday, and the full moon. But suddenly Meredith gets super sick. Werewolves don’t get sick. Ever. It turns out that her wolf has been agitated and is now fighting against the curse that keeps her from shifting. Tessa can’t just sit by while her friend is dying, especially when it was her family who put the curse on her in the first place. Now, it’s time to face the head of her coven to reverse the curse, or learn to use her own bruja magic, which might make things worse.

Review: Becoming Alpha (Alpha Girl, #1) by Aileen Erin

I really liked Becoming Alpha! In some ways, it’s a pretty typical YA paranormal, but in other ways it felt totally fresh. Either way, it was a lot of fun, because Tessa isn’t one to just sit back and let others run her. Her family has just moved from LA to Texas due to her father’s job. Tessa is dreading the move, but also looking forward to being somewhere new where she isn’t known as a freak. She’s a psychometric, so whatever she touches gives her flashes of that objects past. She also sometimes gets visions from skin-to-skin contact, so she’s careful to not touch anyone and wears gloves. Well, the new Tessa still doesn’t fit in, since she gets bitten by a werewolf her first weekend, and has to […]
